EQUAL GROUND is a nonprofit organisation seeking economic, social, cultural, civil and political rights for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Questioning/Queer (LGBTIQ) community of Sri Lanka. We are committed to creating a safe space for all LGBTIQ individuals.
They stated they assist individuals with their asylum processes once abroad; however, they cannot give assistance within their country as they do not provide that service because they do not have the resources and can put their organization in jeopardy
