For over 25 years, we have worked to secure safe haven, freedom to live openly, and equality for individuals and families in our community. Through direct legal services, policy advocacy, and impact litigation, we advocate for immigrants and families facing discrimination based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status.

Immigration Equality envisions a future where LGBTQ and HIV-positive immigrants are celebrated for making our country stronger, and where they can enjoy safe haven from persecution, freedom to live openly as their full selves, and equality for themselves and their families.
