Selvhjelp for innvandrere og flyktninger - Self Help for Immigrants and Refugees (SEIF)
Norway
خدمات
In SEIF, we assist our help seekers with help in filling out forms with necessary attachments, translations and explanations of decisions and letters from the public sector, referral to the appropriate body, follow-up of cases and formulation of complaints. This is how we help our user group to reach out and achieve equal rights.
SEIF is also largely used as a knowledge bank by both public bodies, lawyers and other voluntary organizations. Public offices, e.g. The refugee service, Nav, child welfare, schools, shelters, etc. also contact us for information and advice in individual cases, in areas where we have developed cutting-edge expertise.
We inform, refer to the appropriate body and help with problem solving in a wide range of areas:
NAV, school, work, residence permit, family reunification, financial problems, forced marriage and honor-related violence, negative social control etc.
